As Access and Inclusion Advisor, Lesly drives the development and implementation of a broad program of work supporting access and inclusion within Safe and Equal and amongst the peak’s member services.

Lesly has worked for several years in direct service delivery, management, research and advocacy to address family violence and gender and sexual violence in Australia. She holds a Master of Applied Anthropology and Community and Youth Work from Goldsmiths College-London University.

I strongly believe that we can contribute to a more just world for everybody. This means we need to challenge and support a change of narratives, actions and systems that oppress and marginalise some people and communities, while privileging others. We need to do this as a collective and in allyship with people who experience structural marginalisation.
