Ella Longhurst

As Safe and Equal’s Policy and Research Officer, Ella works within the policy team across policy and research priorities. Ella contributes to policy development, advocacy, submission writing, and sector collaboration to inform policy on family violence. Their role also coordinates Safe and Equal’s participation in and engagement with relevant research projects being undertaken across the sector, and supports the translation of knowledge and evidence into policy and practice.

Ella has a background in research, including their previous roles as Safe and Equal’s Data Program Officer, and also as a Qualitative Research Assistant and Social Policy Researcher at The University of Melbourne.
