Primary Prevention Unit
Kit leads on all aspects of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) for the Primary Prevention team to ensure the projects and work are grounded in best-practice evidence and are adaptive to meet the needs of the sector.
Kit draws upon her strong experience in the international development sector, where she worked on women’s rights programmes focussed on female genital mutilation (FGM), sexual and reproductive health and rights, and gender-based violence. Kit recently completed her PhD at The University of Sydney, where she also taught and was a researcher in gender and conflict studies.
I am a proud feminist and I believe that the rights of women and girls must be at the forefront of evidence-based policy and decision making. I am passionate about working to create a world where women and girls are safe from violence and harm; have bodily autonomy; and have equal access to opportunities, power, freedom, and joy.
